These Booking Conditions, together with the Privacy policies, form the basis of your contract with our structure.
Please read the contents of this document carefully, as the respective rights and obligations are defined here.
In these Booking Conditions the terms “you” and “your”, “your” refer to all the names indicated in the booking (including the names added or replaced at a later time). “Noi” and “nostro” refer to “La Borasca”. The term “Suppliers” refers to any third party that can provide transport services, hôtellerie or any other service directly contracted with you.
1. Your reservation
By making a reservation, the person who completes the process is identified as a group leader and confirms that he is authorized by the other participants to adhere to these Booking Conditions. The group leader is responsible for any payment due to us.
We will confirm your stay (which is subject to availability) by sending you a confirmation note by e-mail or traditional mail. Please carefully check the booking confirmation and contact us if this document or any other should appear to be incomplete or incorrect, as it may not be possible to change it later. To confirm your booking you will be asked for a credit card as a guarantee. In the absence of a valid credit card we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
At check-in you will be asked for a credit card to guarantee payment. The credit card can also be different from the one given as a guarantee at the time the booking was made.
We remind you that to complete the booking it is necessary to be of age, children and young people staying must be accompanied by an adult or in possession of a release signed and completed by the parents.
2. Your Contract
The contract is in place when we send you the booking confirmation. The aforementioned contract is subject to Italian law and the parties agree that any dispute will be under the jurisdiction of Italian law.
3. The cost of your stay
We reserve the right to increase or decrease tariffs at any time. The price of your stay will still be confirmed at the time of your reservation.
From the moment your booking is confirmed (subject to errors and omissions anyway), the price of your stay will not be increased / will not change. The confirmed rate will not include any local tourist taxes introduced by the 2007 Budget Law. The booked hotel reserves the right to add the amount of the aforementioned fees to the confirmed rate. We reserve the right to correct any errors, both in the advertised price and in the confirmed price. We will update the prices when we become aware of the error itself. Please note that errors and changes may occasionally occur. We advise you to check the price of the stay you have chosen at the time of booking.
The Italian anti-money laundering legislation (Legislative Decree 21.11.2007 n. 231, art. 49 and subsequent Legislative Decree 6.12.2011 n. 201, art. 12 paragraph 1) prohibits the transfer of cash if the value being transferred is equal to or greater than 3,000 euros. The transfer is prohibited even when it is made with multiple payments below the threshold that appear artificially split. Therefore, in the event that the total amount due for the services is equal to or greater than 3,000 euros, the payment must be made using the credit cards accepted by the hotel.
4. Changes made by you
In the event that you wish to make changes to your booking, you must necessarily contact La borasca. Although it is our goal to assist you, we cannot however guarantee that we will be able to satisfy your every request for modification. When the conditions are met for which it will be possible to make the requested change to the booking you have made, this operation will be treated as a cancellation and a subsequent re-booking and any subsequent cancellation penalty will be applicable (see point 6 of this document).
5. Cancellations made by you
In the event that you or any participant of your group needs to cancel the stay after the booking confirmation, the group leader is required to notify us immediately. Your cancellation notification will be effective only if made by La Borasca. In the event that the cancellation is made by you beyond the terms of free cancellation indicated at the time of booking and in the confirmation notifications that you have received, you will incur a cancellation penalty.
In case of failure to cancel within the time specified at the time of booking and failure to arrive at the facility, you will incur a penalty. There are particularly advantageous tariff plans that have more restrictive cancellation policies or higher penalties, up to 100% of the value of the stay itself.
6. Changes and cancellations made by us
We plan offers and rates several months in advance. Occasionally we need to make changes or correct errors in the website and other details, both before and after the reservations have been confirmed. It is our care to try as much as possible to avoid changes and cancellations, but we reserve the right to make them. Most changes are minor, but occasionally we need to make more significant changes. In this case, we will endeavor to communicate it to you as soon as possible. If there will be the possibility and the time necessary to prepare things before the departure date of your stay, we will propose the following alternatives:
(a) (for significant changes) accept the modified conditions
(b) an alternative stay proposed by us, with similar or higher standards and conditions than the one originally booked, or
(c) cancel or accept the cancellation, in this case any payment already made to us will be canceled. Please note that the alternatives proposed above are not applicable if the changes are of a minor nature.
7. Force Majeure
With the exception of the cases expressly contemplated by these Booking Conditions, we are not responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by you (as described in detail in section 9) or in the event that the full or partial use of our services is limited to due to the occurrence of “force majeure” causes. In this document concerning the Booking Conditions, “force majeure” means any event that cannot be foreseen or avoided by us or by our service providers, despite all the attention paid. This type of event includes war or similar events, riots, civil wars, terrorist attacks, natural or nuclear disasters, fires, adverse weather conditions, strikes or any other event beyond our control.
9. Problems and complaints
In the event that you have any reason to make a complaint or if you have any problems to report, you must immediately inform the provider of the service in question. Any verbal notification must be reported in writing and sent as soon as possible to our supplier. Until we become aware of a problem, we cannot try to solve it. Many problems can be solved quickly. On the contrary, if you were still unsatisfied, you can write to us directly or call us at +390377046150, indicating your reservation and a complete description of your complaint.
10. Alternative online dispute resolution (ODR)
The European Commission, with Regulation 524/2013 / EU, established an online platform that provides an alternative resolution tool for disputes that may arise between “consumers” and “professionals”.
This tool can be used by the consumer to resolve any dispute relating to contracts for the online sale of goods and services extra-judicially, independently and impartially.

11. Behavior
Upon booking, you accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused by yourself or by a participant in your group. Full and immediate payment will be required for any damage or loss caused, directly to the manager / manager of the facility or service provided. If you fail to do so, you will be liable for any lawsuits filed against you and you will be required to pay in full also our legal fees and any other third parties involved.
12. General conditions for suppliers
Some of the services that make up your holiday are offered by independent suppliers from the hotel. The latter provide these services based on their general sales conditions.
13. Special requests and health problems
If you have any special requests, we ask you to communicate them at the time of booking. Although we will try to satisfy you in all requests, as long as these are reasonable, we cannot guarantee that every request is met unless we have written confirmation. You will get a written confirmation of your request (if possible) if the request itself is of fundamental importance to you. The confirmation that the request has been notified or sent to the supplier or included in the special requests on the receipt or any other documentation, is not confirmation that this request will be satisfied.
Unless specifically indicated, all special requests are subject to availability. We regret that we cannot accept them for bookings with special conditions, eg in bookings where a particular condition of fulfillment of a special request is specified. All reservations will be treated as “standard” reservations subject to the aforementioned provisions of special requests.
If you or any person you know should have health problems or disabilities that could affect your holiday, please let us know before confirming the booking. If we reasonably believe that we cannot meet your particular needs, we will reserve the right to decline your booking or, if this information is not received at the time of booking, it will not be taken into consideration.
14. Travel documents
You are responsible for all travel documents and vouchers. You will not be reimbursed if, due to travel documents that are not in order, you cannot make or complete the stay and we will not be responsible for the additional costs that you may suffer as a result.
15. Penalties
According to the customs and practices, in the event of cancellation of the reservation by the Customer, the management of La Borasca has the right to request, as compensation, the cancellation penalties to the extent of the cancellation policies accepted at the time of booking and well visible in the “book now” section.
The cancellation policies vary based on numerous factors, such as the holding of events, fairs, holidays etc., the structure decides independently its cancellation policies at any time, the cancellation policy accepted at the booking stage will not change after confirmation of the reservation received via email.
The decision to sell non-refundable rates, that is, which do not provide for any reimbursement in any case, is at the complete discretion of the management of the structure.
Failure to present within the maximum check-in times, is subject to penalties equal to a cancellation beyond the free limits.
The modification of a booking beyond the free limits, for number of guests, number of nights or rooms, is subject to the same penalty as a missed presentation or cancellation beyond the free limits.
16. Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Legislative Decree n. 185/1999 art. 7 the right of withdrawal is not applicable to contracts for the provision of services related to accommodation, transport, catering, leisure, when at the conclusion of the contract the supplier undertakes to provide such services on a specific date or in a set period
17. Current law and competent court
Italian law applies. The territorial jurisdiction for any dispute should arise in the competent judicial authority based on value in the district of the Court of Lodi.
